HOW DO I CREATE AN ACCOUNT?

You must create an account prior to selling a horse. Click on the Sign In link the the Create Account link to get started. Fill in the required fields and click Register. After you just sign in and go to Sell a Horse to begin your auction.

WHY DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT?

To protect our users, both buyers and sellers, we require anyone selling a horse or bidding on a horse to first create an account. This verifies that those placing bids are authentic bids.

I DIDN'T GET AN EMAIL?

If you do not receive your email please check your spam folder.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY PASSWORD?

If you forget your Password to sign in, go to the Sign In link and click on the Forgot password. You will be sent directions to reset your password to access your account.

HOW DO I SELL A HORSE?

Follow the Sell a Horse link. You will need to create an account before you are able to sell. During the steps to create your listing, be sure to fill in required fields. You will get a Preview page prior to completing your auction. Reminder there will be a DocuSign ACH form sent to your email to securely send your financial preferences to our accounting team so they can transfer the monies to you at the end of the auction.

WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION ACCOUNT?

Horse Auction Block requests your Financial Institution information in order to transfer money to your account once you sell a horse. The DocuSign form is provided when a horse is posted for sale and the information is kept on file to utilize when processing payments. If you need to change or update your Financial Institution information, simply request the form from the Account page.

HOW TO UPLOAD IMAGES?

During the listing process, you will have the opportunity to upload image and videos of your horse. You can add additional images and videos even after your auction has gone live.

WHAT DOES A FEATURED HORSE MEAN?

A Featured Horse is when your listing is displayed on the Horse Auction Block homepage. If selected, your listing will be featured on the homepage throughout the length of your auction. There is an additional fee for the feature.

WHAT IF I GET NO BIDS ON MY HORSE?

If you get no bids on your horse, you will have the opportunity to re-list your horse for no additional fee. If you have bids on your horse but do not meet your reserve amount, you can always re-list your horse, but there will be a fee since there were bids made on the horse.

FEES & COSTS TO SELL

There is a fee to list your horse, which will be shown to you prior to finalizing your auction. An additional fee is applied for the Featured Horse option and an additional fee for the Preview (show your listing prior to the auction starting) option. There is an 8% sales fee on horse transactions. This will come off of your final payment at the close of the transaction.

HOW TO BID ON A HORSE?

You must create an account prior to bidding on a horse. You can either create an account in advance of the start of bidding or while an auction is taking place. Click on the Sign In link the Create Account link to get started.

MY ACCOUNT

You must create an account before you are able to list a horse for auction as a Seller. You must also create an account before you are able to bid on a horse as a Buyer. You must also create an account in order to become a Transportation Partner.

CAN I GET HELP WITH TRANSPORTATION?

Yes you can. The Seller of the horse may offer transportation assistance. If they do this will be stated on the main page of the product you are bidding on/buying. If the Seller doe not offer transportation assistance, this too will be noted. If this is the case, you can search our list of Transportation Partners on the Transportation page.

WHAT IF I HAVE AN ISSSUE WITH MY PURCHASE?

On the My Purchases pages your purchase that is in process, has the steps listed and indicates which step you are currently on. There is a Request Support button that allows you to select your issue from a drop down and request help accordingly.
